The CDOC Evaluation Webinar was held on Thursday, June 5th.The session highlighted findings from the California Comprehensive Cancer Program (CCCP) 2023- 2024 Evaluation Report Findings at a Glance and provided insights into how the CDOC coalition tracks progress and strengthens cancer control efforts across California. Webinar participants were able to learn how evaluation supports planning, collaboration, and continuous improvement across programs and partnerships. Recording available here.

The California HPV Vaccination Roundtable is excited to continue The HPV Vaccination Learning Collaborative. All who are interested in increasing HPV vaccinations are invited to join this quarterly, virtual, lunchtime, learning opportunity. The collaborative format features a teaching topic presented by HPV vaccination experts, updates from the field, and an open forum for sharing best practices, challenges, and announcements. CCCP Annual Business Meeting (25th Anniversary Commemoration)
CDOC traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for the National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (NCCCP) Annual Business meeting (25th Anniversary Commemoration) from September 19-21. Session highlights included: Removing Barriers to Prevention and Care: Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), Community Health Workers Advancing SDOH, Non-traditional partners informing public policy to improve health equity, Reducing cancer risk and improving Health Equity through Adverse Childhood Experience prevention, Lung Cancer Screening, and Supporting survivors and caregivers.
CDOC's very own Shauntay Davis-Patterson spoke during the NCCCP plenary where she shared her expertise on the cancer plan revision process.
