Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance
Jasmine Escalante is the Programs Director at Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, a nonprofit organization in Roseville, CA whose mission is to support children with cancer and their families with emotional, educational, and financial support while increasing awareness and funding research toward a cure. Jasmine joined Keaton’s in 2019 as a Summer Intensive Program (SIP) Intern while earning her Bachelor of Social Work degree at Sacramento State and was officially welcomed as a Family Navigator in 2020, providing case management for pediatric cancer families across the Northern California, Greater Sacramento, Bay Area, and San Joaquin regions. In 2021, Jasmine was extended the opportunity to transition into the Programs Director role at Keaton’s, and now oversees their Family Navigator Program. Since her time as Programs Director, Jasmine has helped expand Keaton’s Program Services by further developing international subprograms for teens, siblings, and caregivers impacted by childhood cancer.
Jasmine recently received her Master of Social Work degree through the University of Kentucky and is now working towards becoming an LCSW. As an aspiring LCSW, she hopes to one day continue her work with pediatric cancer families in a clinical setting as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Social Worker.
