Misha Mehta, PhD, MS, BCPA (She/Her), is a scientist, patient advocate, and nonprofit leader dedicated to accelerating research and improving outcomes for children with cancer. Following the loss of her six-year-old son, Neev, to diffuse midline glioma (DIPG) after a courageous 15-month battle, Misha has devoted her career to advancing pediatric cancer research, strengthening patient advocacy, and driving policy change.
Misha is the co-founder and president of the Neev Kolte Foundation, which has invested in pediatric cancer research, family support, and legislative advocacy. She is passionate about ensuring that patient and family voices are integrated into every stage of research, clinical care, and policy, believing that meaningful progress is achieved through collaboration among scientists, clinicians, advocates, and families. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2), where she leads educational initiatives and national advocacy efforts that amplify the voices of children, families, survivors, and advocates.
