Raquel Arias, MPH has been working in cancer control with the American Cancer Society for over ten years. In her current role as a State and Primary Care Systems Manager, she works with health plans, FQHCs, and government programs on cancer prevention, early detection, and quality of life initiatives. Her work focuses on evidence-based interventions to increase cancer screening and HPV vaccination, coalition building, and stakeholder engagement. Raquel is a member of the Steering Committee of the California HPV Vaccination Roundtable, co-chair of the Los Angeles HPV Vaccine Coalition, and is the current Vice-Chair of the California Dialogue on Cancer. Raquel received both a BS in Psychology and Master of Public Health from UCLA. She lives in Los Angeles County and loves the outdoors, being active, and spending time with her husband, dog, and young daughter.
