Zeynab Jouzi, PhD is an interdisciplinary scientist advancing food security, health equity, and planetary health through research and community engagement. Her work addresses health disparities and supports under-resourced communities through approaches that bridge scholarship and practice. She has published more than ten peer-reviewed articles and a book chapter on pathways to zero hunger. Dr. Jouzi has led hands-on research with unhoused families in New York City transitional housing, co-developing nutrition and support programs tailored to community needs. She has also advanced equity through leadership roles, including co-leading the Equity and Outreach Working Group of the Food Ed Coalition, Laurie M. Tisch Center at Columbia University (2022–2023), and serving on the Cornell Center for Health Equity Seminar Series Planning Committee (2022–2024).
