Jenifer Metz is an enthusiastic mom, wife, sister, daughter, and public health professional with over 20 years of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs. Her work with the California Health Collaborative and Every Woman Counts focuses on addressing cancer disparities among the most underserved communities through education, capacity building and community partnerships. Jenifer works in collaboration with hundreds of community-based organizations, schools, hospitals, clinics, and businesses throughout the state of California. She is active on several cancer-related advisory committees and is passionate about her work to reduce health disparities. Her professional experience includes managing grant programs that provide seed capital to health care, social service, and community-based organizations implementing health advocacy, cancer prevention, and control activities. A native of Southern Arizona, Jenifer is bilingual and bicultural. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Middlebury College and received her Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona.
