Haley Tupper

Haley Tupper, MD, MS, MPH is a resident general surgery physician at UCLA with a background in international health systems who performs research within the Kaiser Permanente and UCLA health systems. She is passionate about health system design to reduce disparities in care. Her clinical experience involves working with diverse urban patient populations both in the hospital and outpatient settings throughout Los Angeles and New York City. In addition to her US-based research and clinical work, she has worked internationally in Cambodia and Armenia, focusing on disease-based (kidney disease, cancer) research and health policy. Her current work in Los Angeles County focuses on system-level barriers to lung cancer care, particularly screening access inequities in the community.
