Ernesto Sosa, MSW, MPH

Ernesto Sosa is the Director of Community Programs at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity. He has worked in health disparities research for the past 10 years with a focus on cancer screening, chronic disease management, and clinical trial participation within the Black and Latinx communities. Ernesto completed his undergraduate degree in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and his MSW and MPH at the University of Washington – Seattle. He completed both programs as a Posse Scholar. Ernesto believes strongly in the fundamental right to a healthy life for all and has dedicated his career to pursuing that reality. He was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley to Salvadoran parents and is passionate about increasing access to the various opportunities he has been fortunate enough to have throughout his life.
