Carrie Murray

Carrie Murray brings over 20 years of healthcare experience working with some of the most respected companies and health systems to empower people with the best in knowledge, technology, and processes to obtain optimal results.

An energetic advocate for strategic improvement, she has helped launch new technologies, and implemented many initiatives to reduce overhead and healthcare costs. With experience in both clinical and non-clinical arenas, Carrie brings a unique perspective to help bridge communication gaps in increasingly complex clinical settings to better serve patient and provider populations, with a particular interest in cancer care.

“My mom is a breast cancer survivor and my dad passed from cancer 2 years ago after a sudden, stage 4 diagnosis during the onset of the pandemic in 2020. I am passionate about fighting cancer, especially for those who are underserved and underrepresented. I am honored to be working with like-minded individuals who believe improvements must be made in cancer prevention and control. Early diagnosis, advanced treatment options and clinical collaboration are essential…for everyone”.

Her current roles include addressing clinical communication structures and workflow optimizations for Spectralink and serving as a technology and data advisor for Health DataVerse, Inc.

Carrie served as the Co-Chair of Programs for the HIMSS Southern California Chapter in 2021 and looks forward to the role of President-Elect of the SoCal Chapter in 2022.
