This page is periodically updated with information and resources related to the California State Cancer Plan revision.
Revision of California's Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan, 2021-2025 is underway! California is considering a ten-year cancer plan to prioritize goals and objectives and allow flexibility for routine revisions based on evolving evidence and emerging needs. The revised state cancer plan will be aligned with the objectives in Healthy People 2030 and guided by CDC National Cancer Control Priorities (NCCP). The revision process is approximately 18 months long (see timeline below), with an expected release in January 2026.
