Julie Rahnema Shaver, MPH

In her twenty-three year career with the Society, Julie has served in various roles including leading a statewide team working with 180 hospitals to improve quality care for cancer patients. She has been successful in building relationships and managing programs with hospitals, companies, and key community leaders to achieve mission outcomes, secure funding, increase employee engagement and increase visibility of the Society. Prior to her career at ACS, Julie worked at two healthcare systems in the San Diego Market. She holds a Master Degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Health Science from San Diego State University, is an alumni of the Society’s National Leadership Development Program and a member of the San Jose Rotary Club. Julie lives in San Jose (Almaden Valley) with her husband and two children.
